按英语分级进行编写，收集了大量中小学生感兴趣的国内外侦探、科幻小说，神话，传说，寓言故事以及各类感人的故事等，这些故事都是专门根据中小学生的阅读能力进行分级编写，并且所有的作者都是具有英语背景或富有英语教学经验的老师，这些老师对内容和词语的把握精準到位。每册图书均配有原创的插图，图文相得益彰，并对生词加以脚注，同时针对故事配有一定的练习，对读者阅读起到进一步加深的作用。

94年毕业于南京师範大学外文系，同年起在江苏省姜堰中学任教高中英语，先后担任教研组长和教务处副主任，现任南京市玄武区教育局教研室中学英语教研员。2003年进修于英国诺丁汉大学，2006年获得全国中国小外语教师园丁奖；2007年被评为全国首届教育硕士优秀学员；2007年被评为泰州市高中英语学科带头人和泰州市优秀教育工作者；2010年别评为南京市高中英语学科教学带头人。先后发表教育教学论文二十余篇。
