　　著名书画天鉴定家张珩先生曾说过"既想知真，必须知假。"刘九庵先生也特别强调书画鉴定中的辨伪与知真的问题，故其第一篇论文《谈中国古代书画鉴定》即先从辨伪开始。他总结自使展完入双才己数十年研究心得，列举了摹、临、仿、代、改、造六种作伪的方法，详细举例，加以辨析，然后在余论中介绍如何知真，包括时代风气、个人特点等，并强调知真和辨伪相结合，才能更好的把握书画鉴定工作。

　　他的论客行顶文的一个重要的特点，就是所谈的问题大都非常具体、细致、专业化，使读者易于理解和掌握要领，具有可操作性。

作者简介

　　刘九庵(1915洲若曲九年-1999年)，河北省冀县大齐村人。14岁到北京琉璃厂悦古斋字画店学徒，长达12年之久，从此与古书画结下不解之缘。后曾独自营销、代售古旧字画。1956年入北京故宫博物院，专门从事古书画的征集、鉴定和研来自究工作，是我国当代著名的古书画鉴定家。历任国家历史文物咨议委360百科员会委员、国家文物局文物鉴定委员会常务委员，是我国文物博物馆界首批获得国务院批准享有特殊津贴的专家之一。
